Paragraghs Writing about Christmas

On Friday 16th November 2018 we set up the Christmas Tree in the evening. We put the decorations and coloured lights on the tree. We also put the laser lights outside.





Now I’m listening to Christmas songs on the Youtube and Coast radio. My best singer is Andy Williams. Those songs make me happy.



We listen to Coast Love the Christmas 2016 CD in Auntie Venessa’s new car. We danced and sang the songs. We were happy about that on Thursday 22nd November 2018 in the afternoon.




We have started to do some Christmas shopping at Botany since Thursday 8th November 2018.



I might choose the rewards from Flybuys with my Dad before Christmas.



I’m excited to do those things.

Cricket Day 2018 comments

On Thursday 15th November 2018 we went to cricket day at Parnell Cricket Club in Remuera. It was a lovely sunny day.



When we got there, we divided into 2 groups called skunks and hedgehogs. I was with Mina, Julia, Leya, Jessica, Braydon, Kate, Blake, Aidan and Reggie in the hedgehogs groups.

I did cricket skills like throwing, bowling and other things. My best part was the throwing.





At 12pm we had our lunch under the trees. After lunch I met the Glendowie teacher Maxine in the playground.



We saw Tamaki 3, Riverhills, Glendowie and Te Hapori-Community Class there.

We get back to school in a bus at 12.45pm.



I had a fun day. I enjoyed playing cricket very much.

Manaiakalani Film Festival 2018 comments

On Wednesday 7th November 2018 we went to Manaiakalani Film Festival at Hoyts in Sylvia Park.






First we divided into four groups with Naki, Diana, Elly and Shyama. I was in Shyama’s group on the way there. I went with Shirani, Brooklyn and Blake.

We saw Howick Intermediate, Stonefields, Te Hapori Community Class, Riverhills, Sylvia Park, Tamaki 3, Glendowie and other schools there.

We watched a variety of movies. My best part was the Who are you, Van Dammn Lagoon in Mt Wellington and Jump.



On the way back, I went back to school with Naki and our release teacher Gabrielle in the Sommerville van.





I enjoyed going there very much.

V8 Supercars-Pukekohe 2018 comments

On Friday 2nd November 2018 we went to V8 Super cars for the ITM Auckland Sprints at Pukekohe Park Raceway.





First we divided into four groups with Kevin, Nicola, Diana and Cole’s Dad’s group. I was in Cole’s Dad’s group and he had the car called Audi Silver A7. I went with Thiha, Ethan and Bradley.



When we got there, we had our morning tea under the tree.

After morning tea we walked around the raceway. We saw the racing cars going fast in the circle. We also saw the Toyota, Ford car and the other things there.



































After lunch we had another walk to the stairs to look at the other racing cars.


I enjoyed seeing the racing cars very much.

Interact Art Festival 2018 comments

On Wednesday 31st October 2018 we went to Interact Art Festival at Corban Estate Centre in Henderson. First we divided into three groups with Kevin, Diana and Elly. I was in Kevin’s group and he had the Sunshine van called Ford Transit White 2008.





When we got there, I watched the X Factor UK performance. Then I did art activities at the shed. My favourite things to do was pot painting, jewellery and making a badge.

After lunch I did tape art at the shed.

I learnt a lot of things there. I enjoyed my time there very much.
