Special Olympics Basketball comments

On Thursday 30th August 2018 we went to Special Olympics for the Basketball Tournament at Barfoot and Thompson Stadium at Selwyn College in Kohimarama.

I went in Shirani’s car with Kylah and Kate.

I was in Diana’s, Shirani’s and release teacher Valerie’s group. Nikhil, Rapture, Blake, Aidan, Reggie and Leya were in my group. I did basketball dribbling, passing and shot the goals there. I did it very well.

We saw Te Hapori-Sommerville Community Links, Tamaki 3, Pakuranga College-Pegasus Unit, Selwyn College, Howick College, Botany Downs Secondary College, Mt Roskill Intermediate, Sunnydene Special School and other schools there. I said hello to the Pakuranga College-Pegasus Unit teacher aide Sarah, Tamaki 3 and Te Hapori-Sommerville Community Links and they said hello to me.

I met  a lot of students, St John’s Ambulance man and Kate’s Mum ,Celeste ,there.

We had our prize giving with sports teacher Helen at 1.30pm there.

We had a photo taken for Sommerville Yearbook 2018 before we left there.

I enjoyed it. I learnt lots of Basketball Skills.

My Weekend

On Saturday morning I went for a bike ride. We went to Cascades Walkway, Burswood past, Bunnings Warehouse and Supercheap Auto. Then after that we also went to Botany near The Hub, Golflands, Pakuranga Golf Club, Botany Downs and Highland Park with my Dad. It was 16ks.

After lunch we went to Horbia Sushi and Countdown at Highland Park.

We also went to the fish shop to buy a whole of Tarakihi. We brought a lot of groceries from Lim Chhour Supermarket. Then we brought a soft tofu from Tofu Shop. After that we went to Da Hua Supermarket, Wang Mart, New World, Pak n Save, The Warehouse, Hollywood Bakery and Countdown at Botany.

I saw Auntie Josephine at New World. I said hello to her and she said hello to me back there.

On Sunday afternoon I went for a run to Rotary Walkway with my Dad, brother and sister.

I enjoyed going Out and about on the weekend very much.

My Monday afternoon with my relieving support worker Auntie Adriana

On Monday afternoon I was with my relieving support worker Auntie Adriana from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.

We went for a walk from Little Bucklands Beach to Tides Kitchen on Devon Rd. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon.

We walked past our friend Auntie Kathy’s house and her curtains were closed.

I think she had gone to visit her daughter Auntie Emily.

I enjoyed my walk with Auntie Adriana very much.

Let's Get Active 23/8/18 comments

On Thursday I was in group 3 with Diana and Sharnel in our classroom.

Aidan, Reggie, Blake, Jessica and Leya were in my group.

I did Handwriting, Alphabet stamping, Topple tree Game, Scribble, Barrel of Monkeys and Pegs into the ice cream container for Fine Motor Skills.

At 12.45pm we went for a walk around the school.

On the way back, we went to the Library to read a NZ Herald newspapers.

I learnt lots of things. I enjoyed my time very much.

My Weekend News

On Saturday 18th August 2018 we went to do a blood test for my Mum and Dad at Labtests in Botany Superclinic.

We also went to the fish shop, Lim Chhour Supermarket, Tofu Shop, Fruit World, Wang Mart, Da Hua Supermarket, Bakers Delight, Pak n Save, Chemist Warehouse, Hollywood Bakery and Countdown at Botany.

We had a look to the $2 Shop in China Town, New World and Harvey Norman. 









We brought a lot of groceries at Lim Chhour Supermarket, Pak n Save and Countdown. We got a free prescriptions for my Dad at Chemist Warehouse and Countdown.

I saw our friends Auntie Merrill and her car at Botany Rd near Pakuranga Golf Club and Golflands Motel. I also saw my old Sommerville teacher aide Kathy at Countdown. I said hello to her and she said hello to me back there.





On Sunday 19th August 2018 I went to the Library, Countdown and Aviemore Fruit & Vegetables Shop in Highland Park. I also went to Fruit n Spice in Howick.





I didn't go for a bike ride as I didn't feel like it on the weekend. I enjoyed my busy weekend very much.

Basketball Training at Edgewater Gym 2018

On Thursday we did a basketball skills with a group at Edgewater Gym. The name of the group I am in is called The Movers.

We were practising the basketball skills. The tournament will held at Barfoot and Thompson Stadium at Selwyn College in Kohimarama.

On Thursday 30th August 2018 we are planning to go to the tournament. We might see our friends from other schools.

Let's Get Active comments 16/8/18

At 12.45pm I did Fine Motor Skills like handwriting at our classroom. I wrote very well.

I learnt lots of things. I enjoyed my time very much.

My Busy Weekend

On Saturday 1.30pm to 5.20pm we went to the fish shop, Lim Chhour Supermarket, Tofu Shop, Fruit World, Aussie Butcher, Da Hua Supermarket, Wang Mart, New World, Pak n Save, Hollywood Bakery and Countdown at Botany. We brought a lot of groceries at Pak n Save. We get a free prescripitons for my Dad at Countdown Pharmacy in Botany.




















On Sunday 11am to 12.30pm I went for a bike ride to Cascades Walkway, Millhouse Reserve, Sommerville past Meadowlands Shopping Plaza and Chinese shops, Shelly Park, Cockle Bay, Howick and Highland Park with my Dad. It was 18ks. We were riding the way that goes to Whiford, Brookby and Clevedon near the roundabout and Point View Drive at Shamrock Park.















After lunch I went to the Library, Countdown, Aviemore Fruit & Vegetables Shop and Saveway Asian Supermarket at Highland Park.




From 5pm to 6pm I also went for a bike ride with my brother, sister and Dad to Pakuranga Sailing Club. It was 5ks.  I enjoyed my busy weekend very much. I also enjoyed the time with my family.

On Thursday I was in group 3 with Diana, Shirani and the relieving teacher aide Eileen.

Aidan, Reggie, Leya, Lilly, Angus and Jessica were in my group.

I made a Cupcake Purse and Paper Flying Planes for my Kids Craft project. I did putting the Pasta and small Pegs onto the container. I also did Tie the knot and Building the tower.

At 12.45pm we went for a short walk around the school. We were walking up the stairs. 

I enjoyed my time very much. I learnt lots of things.
